2024 Grand Design Solitude 391DL Because You Deserve More Than Just Travel. You Deserve Solitude.
The 2024 model 391DL is a fifth‑wheel built for those who want to really live well on the road. It gives a strong impression of a mobile home--stateliness, comfort, smart layout--rather than just something to tow behind a truck. The design manages to blend form and function, offering generous living space, thoughtful separation of rooms, and upscale touches throughout.
Inside, ceilings are high and windows are expansive, letting in light and giving a feeling of openness. There's an emphasis on residential scale: cabinetry, furniture, and appliances are large and carefully integrated so that the kitchen, living area, sleeping quarters all feel more like what you'd expect in a fine house rather than a minimal RV. Storage is abundant; every space seems to be used well, with lots of drawers, closets, accessible compartments, pantry space. The finish work tends toward higher‑end materials: solid surfaces, quality hardware, well‑made trim and doors, and attention to detail around lighting, flooring, and fixtures.
The layout supports multiple occupants well. There are dual bedrooms, meaning people can have privacy; the bathrooms are placed and sized to serve comfortably; and common areas--living room, dining--are large enough to host guests or just spread out. Slide‑outs are used in ways that expand the living space without compromising flow. The kitchen has an island (or similarly central element), which helps with both workspace and entertaining while keeping things efficient.
On the exterior, the profile is bold but refined: wide‑body construction, aesthetic touches like tinted windows, color‑matched accents, attention to the look of materials and surfaces. Utility isn't neglected--outdoor living, entry and storage access, and durability through weather protection are part of the design. Heating, cooling, insulation are built in with full seasons in mind. It's clear this model is meant not just for short trips, but for longer stays, perhaps for people who spend months (or permanently) living in their RV.
Comfort features are woven in: places to relax, sleep, cook, entertain, heal, live. The seating is arranged so that conversation or lounging is natural; kitchens are made for real cooking, not just occasional meals; bedrooms offer more than just a place to collapse--wardrobes, bedside features, possibly washer/dryer prep. The bathrooms feel like proper ones, not afterthoughts.
The 391DL is ambitious in what it wants to give you: it's a full‑featured, premium RV, one that aims to deliver home comfort in a very mobile package. If you want an RV that doesn't feel like giving up too much when you leave your house, this model is designed to bring you as close as possible.
While we will always attempt to provide you with a TRUE representation of every RV we market, during any purchase from Pop you will be encouraged to schedule an inspection from an independent, accredited inspector and every purchase WILL ALWAYS BE subject to your satisfaction with the results from your independent inspection and your own personal test drive.
