Ibex 19MSB! One owner! Meticulously maintained! Loaded with amenities and ready to enjoy!
The 2023 Forest River Ibex 19MSB is a compact tandem‑axle travel trailer built on a narrow‑body footprint, about 24 feet 8 inches long, 88 inches wide, and a little over 10 feet tall. It comes in around 4,800-4,800+ pounds unloaded with a gross vehicle weight rating roughly in the 6,000-7,500 pound range depending on exact package, and a hitch weight in the mid‑500 to low‑700 pound range. Fresh, grey, and black tanks are each about 30 gallons, and the awning is 16 feet.
The floorplan is built around a front 60 x 80 queen bed (set up as a Murphy bed in some layouts) with storage around it and a large front window in many units. The main living area has a slide with seating (sofas or sofa plus dinette, depending on configuration) facing the entertainment area, and an L‑shaped counter with a couple of bar stools acting as extra prep space and eating area. The trailer is only about seven‑plus feet wide, so walkway space is tighter than in full‑width models, but it also feels less bulky to tow and park.
The kitchen is small but fully equipped: propane cooktop, microwave or air‑fryer microwave, 12V fridge, single large sink, and limited but usable counter space. Storage is spread through overhead cabinets, a pantry, and some drawers, so packing takes a bit of planning if you want to carry food and gear for more than a few days. It is functional for one or two people cooking simple meals rather than big, elaborate setups.
The rear bathroom runs across the back wall with a radius or corner shower, toilet, and a small vanity. For a shorter trailer, the bathroom feels like a dedicated room instead of a cramped corner, but headroom in the shower still depends on the skylight for taller people. Tank sizes and the layout make it workable for a few days of moderate‑use camping without hookups if you manage water carefully.
Construction uses laminated walls with Azdel, an enclosed underbelly, and in many "Beast Mode" style packages, all‑terrain tires, upgraded independent suspension, and tank heating pads. There is standard roof‑mounted solar (around 200W) and prep or options for higher‑capacity solar and inverter systems, plus 12V TV and USB/USB‑C ports scattered inside and out. It is marketed as "off‑road" or "off‑grid capable," but in practice it is more suited to maintained gravel and forest roads than serious rock crawling.
From a use standpoint, the 19MSB is sized for one or two people who want a smaller footprint and easier towing but still want a real bed, a slide‑out seating area, and a full bathroom. Trade‑offs are the narrow body, limited outside storage, and a kitchen that is adequate rather than spacious, balanced by a relatively light weight, simple systems, and a layout that keeps most of the trailer usable even with the slide pulled in.
