This well-executed conversion of the 2019 Ford Transit 350HD enables the new owner to camp or travel and be 100% off-grid while keeping a stealth profile.
The driver's cab area is equipped with a fabric driver's seat and passenger seat, in-dash stereo, AC/heat, 12-Volt accessory plug, and a full cab floor mat.
The shower pulls double duty as the composting toilet is also located there.
Across from the shower is the galley area. It contains a microwave, sink, stove top, and a refrigerator/freezer. There are separate portable water jugs that the systems pull.
You'll find a custom bench seat along the passenger side of the 350HD. It comes with a custom "tray" that can be used as a laptop desk and a large table that can be placed for dining or other activities.
A queen bed runs along the back of the Ford 350HD.
Positioned along the driver's side are storage shelves, some of which feature storage baskets, as well as a TV for viewing.
When the rear roll-up door is open, you gain access to additional storage space beneath the bed.
A mini split A/C system in installed to keep you cool and comfortable when the outside temperature rises.
The 350HD has an external diesel heater that vents up through the floor to keep you warm in colder weather.
There are 800 watts of solar power and a 60-amp DC-to-DC charger.
The body of the 350HD features a unibody style that virtually eliminates areas of water intrusion and the need for sealing or resealing the roof.
All wiring is run through a track/channel system to make it easier to address any issues that may arise without having to go through walls. The walls are foam- and foil-insulated.
