The 2009 Tiffin Phaeton 40QTH is a premium 40-foot Class A diesel pusher built on a raised-rail Freightliner chassis with a 360 HP Cummins ISC engine. Engineered for long-haul travel and full-time living, its rear-wheel-drive configuration provides exceptional highway stability. The heavy-duty exterior shell utilizes a smooth gel-coat fiberglass skin laminated over a welded aluminum framework, finished with high-end full-body paint. Setting up at camp is completely effortless thanks to a built-in 4-point automatic hydraulic leveling system that stabilizes the 32,000-pound motorhome at the push of a dashboard button.
Inside, a quad-slide open concept features dual opposing slide-outs in the front living and kitchen areas, creating a spacious residential environment with high-gloss ceramic tile and plush carpeting. The floor plan provides three separate sleeping areas that accommodate four to six people, centered around a rear master bedroom, a pull-out sleeper sofa, and a convertible booth dinette or secondary couch. Climate control is managed by Tiffin's signature Extraordinaire ducted cooling system, which quietly circulates air from dual 15,000 BTU roof-mounted air conditioners through parallel ceiling channels to ensure even temperatures without noisy air blasts.
