2008 EarthRoamer XV-LT is a highly capable, self-contained expedition vehicle built on a rugged Ford F-550 Crew Cab 4x4 chassis with a powerful 350HP 6.4L Power Stroke diesel engine.
The molded composite body is completely seamless, housing a luxury cabin equipped with premium solid-wood cabinets, real granite countertops, and highly durable commercial flooring. Over the cab, a spacious California King bed, the wet bath includes a cassette toilet and shower.
Off-grid travel: This rig features 510 watts of solar, a 510-amp-hour AGM battery bank and a 2,000-watt pure sine-wave inverter--completely eliminating the need for a propane system or a noisy onboard generator. Heating and hot water are supplied by a diesel-fired hydronic system, paired with a 7,000 BTU air conditioner to keep you comfortable in warmer climates.
