Classic Cutom Newell! Straight Side Coach...No Slides! Air-Leveling! Detroit 60 Series...500 hp.!
This custom-built 1997 Newell 45 is coach-build #447 and was constructed specifically for the original owner. The current seller has owned the coach for 17 years and is only the second owner since new.
The Newell 45 is powered by the 6.7L Detroit Series 60 @ 500 hp paired to the Allison 6-speed automatic transmission.
Newell coaches, to this day, are handcrafted to customer specifications. This '97 Newell 45 featured a roadside sofa, dinette, and curbside kitchen. The kitchen is all-electric, with an induction two-burner cooktop, a round-bowl sink, and a side-by-side residential refrigerator/freezer with indoor water and ice. All coach cabinetry is custom-fitted and features high-pressure laminate finishes and Blum concealed hinges and drawer slides.
The center split bath has a separate commode closet roadside with a newer electric macerator porcelain toilet, while there's a large curbside full-glass circular shower stall. Next to the shower sits a nice-sized bathroom sink and an extra-large medicine cabinet.
The master bedroom features a custom round queen bed with an electric lift for access to under-bed storage. There are a multitude of storage closets and drawers matching the custom hard laminate finish throughout the coach.
The 20kW turbocharged Kohler diesel generator and six 240 Ah lithium-ion house batteries ensure you've got plenty of electrical power, no matter where you're parked.
