1994 M1079 Stewart and Stevenson, made in the USA military truck. This is a head turner, a go-anywhere adventure camper, and very capable off-road. It has 47-inch tall tires. Just performed a full, detailed service.
No CDL is required. The sellers have owned this incredible camper for seven years. They have extensively gone through all systems, and it is mechanically sound. It has tons of new parts, and the seller has all the records from the build and maintenance. Spares, extra parts, and information come with the truck.
The truck is a full-time 4x4 with a Turbo Diesel Caterpillar 3116 Mechanical engine mated to an Allison 7-speed automatic transmission. It gets 7.5 MPG, Cruises 65 MPH as it has high-speed gears, and has a max speed of 74.
Has a fully functioning CTIS tire inflation system with an upgraded controller so you can customize tire pressure
24V electric cab lift pump installed runs cab and spare tire hydraulics
Added a 12V air grid heater to the engine to aid in cold weather starts
Insulation wrap added to the intercooler, exhaust, and air intake tubes helps performance and deadens sound
Exhaust brake added with floor foot switch.

The camper portion of the truck will run indefinitely on 1300 watts of solar, a 400-watt inverter, and 600 amp hours of Battle Born lithium batteries. The system is wired 24V with a 24V-12V transformer to a single 12V battery to power 12V electronics. There are 11 batteries in total on the truck. The solar system also charges the 4 chassis batteries on the truck. There is no need to plug into shore power to keep batteries fully charged. A shore power battery charger is also wired up to keep all 11 batteries fully charged if needed.
