Completely Restored Vintage 1965 Airstream Ambassador 28!! Built to better than original specifications!
Airstream's founder Wally Byam said "We don't sell trailers, we sell a way of life."
This piece of Americana is a ground-up restoration. "We built this Stream to last... Everything used was the best of the best... all new brake assembly, tires, hubs, and hub bearings."
This beautiful Airstream has new suspension, a fully restored frame, restored hardware, and all-new electrical and plumbing.
Inside this RV has a sanded and re-stained Honduras Mahogany interior oiled with Watco.
As far as structure goes, it has double-wall Prodex aluminum insulation with a 1-inch vapor barrier. The underbelly is enclosed with aluminum. The black & grey tanks are wrapped in insulation, and the fresh water tank is located inside the trailer for colder weather use.
