Beautifully Restored Vintage 1965 Airstream Ambassador 28!! Built to better than original specifications!
Airstream's founder Wally Byam said "We don't sell trailers, we sell a way of life."
This piece of Americana is a ground-up restoration. "We built this Stream to last... Everything used was the best of the best... all new brake assembly, tires, hubs, and hub bearings."
This beautiful Airstream has new suspension, a fully restored frame, restored hardware, and all-new electrical and plumbing.
Inside this RV has a sanded and re-stained Honduras Mahogany interior oiled with Watco.
As far as structure goes, it has double-wall Prodex aluminum insulation with a 1-inch vapor barrier. The underbelly is enclosed with aluminum. The black & grey tanks are wrapped in insulation, and the fresh water tank is located inside the trailer for colder weather use. All tanks including the black, grey, and fresh water have never been used! This Airstream will also come equipped with two new and full propane tanks.
