Unique Bus! Never has been used as a passenger bus, was originally built for the CEO of Fisher Body. Detroit Diesel, lots of character, road ready.
If you are looking for a very unique bus to have as a conversion unit look no further, you have found it!
This bus was originally built for the CEO of the Fisher Body company who made all the automotive chassis for General Motors for many years. This bus has never been a passenger bus, therefore the bus has low miles showing on the odometer, just a few over 22K. The engine has been replaced from the original and currently it has a Detroit diesel 6V92 engine. When that was installed they added a blower and a turbo. Seller states that this bus will get up and go quickly. The seller replaced the rear end of the bus in the summer of 2025. Seller has put on new tires all away around and has new brakes.
The seller has owned many buses and is quite handy mechanically and can provide the next owner with a good deal of information that will be very useful.
The bus has a really nice galley/kitchen area, it was built with porthole windows on each side. The bus has a good amount of room on the inside and also you will find a larger shower with a seat and bathroom area. The bus has two twin beds in the rear.
One very unique feature is that originally the bus had and observation platform on top. The is a ladder that gives you access to the top. The next owner could built another platform on top as well if you so desired.
This is an all aluminum bus, so you won't find any rust, plus this make the bus very light weight. The exterior skin and underlying monocoque frame of the PD-4104 are made of high-strength aluminum panels, the skin and frame were engineered to integrate into one solid panel making it a much stronger, durable and lasting frame.
The seller has a lot of original paperwork and the original manuals for this bus.
Bus has two generators, one is a diesel and the other is a gas. The seller wanted a backup gas unit in case it was ever needed.
